Whether it’s day or night, we’ve got a new place for you to try out — Neighbourhood, an endlessly opulent New York inspired venue. “Where is it?” We hear you cry, it’s taken over the Carluccio’s old spot on Greek Street, but you probably won’t recognise it anymore! Neighbourhood has been created by East Coast Concepts, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do with the Leeds crowd. With Manchester and Liverpool sites already being wildly successful, we’ve got high hopes for the latest addition to Greek Street – opening to the public September 28th! Here’s everything we know so far, we’ll keep you updated with our findings… The location The interior refurb alone has cost a jaw-dropping £1.7million and has ben created by restaurant and bar designer of the year, Edwin Pickett. The result is a sprawling and decadent bar and restaurant which captures the eye from the moment you walk through the doors. The food If you’re not impressed by interiors, then the menu will definitely catch your eye. With a mixture of smaller and larger plates available throughout the day and evening, and a sushi selection you wouldn’t expect to see outside of a dedicated Japanese restaurant; there’s something for everyone. Or if you feel like skipping the mains and heading straight for a dessert, you’ll be welcome here! We can’t wait to try the Sweet Tooth Pizzetta, with lashings of chocolate, ice cream and hazelnuts, this sharing dessert promises paradise — and we won’t judge you if you don’t share. The parties Neighbourhood’s biggest attraction though is the promise of parties that run late into the night, with a brilliant drinks menu, served by an impeccably trained bar team. All of the bartenders come from some of the finest locations in the city: Issho, Blind Tyger and Gaucho to name just a few! So you can rest assured that your drink is in safe hands. Neighbourhood has a history of creating and hosting some of the best parties Manchester and Liverpool have to offer. According to the CEO of East Coast Concepts, “Our mission is to create the best parties in the city — the nights that make memories that stay with you forever. We want every night in Neighbourhood to feel like a once in a lifetime experience — but with the chance to do it all over again the next night.” So… Neighbourhood — we love everything we’ve seen so far, let’s see what it’s like when it’s open to the public.
